“PERSPECTIVES ON GLBTQI STUDIES” CLASS
11:30-11:45 a.m.
SEXECOLOGY: At the San Francisco pride parade last June, Beth Stephens and Annie Sprinkle officially added the E to the GLBTQI moniker– for ecosexual. Sprinkle and Stephens have been life partners and collaborators for thirteen years. Stephens and Sprinkle will take you on a fun, inspiring journey as they show and tell about their art experiments in romance, breast cancer, radical sex education, and cuddling as performance art.
“SEXUALITY IN AMERICAN STUDIES” CLASS
2:30-3:45 pm
POLLINATING ECOSEXUALITY
Stephens and Sprinkle created a new field of research, sexecology, which explores the places where sexology and ecology intersect and will share their research. Learn about ecosex in art, theory, practice and activism. They shift the metaphor from Earth as mother, to Earth as lover, expanding the boundaries of what sexuality is in today’s world.
