This is the genocide of the mountains, the water, the people and the animals, not to mention the plants (and I don't mean coal fired electrical plants) that I am trying to expose via Goodbye Gauley Mountain. As soon as these mountains are gone the extraction industries will be taking the lands that you love-if they haven't already. We need to come up with a better way and we need to do it soon.

Good morning Monday. Time to go to work!! What are we doing today? We're going to start practicing with our director Patty Gallagher on our new theater piece Earthy! We're off to the Center for Sex and Culture to meet Robert, Carol Queen, Becka Shertzer and Zackery Watkins. Zack is not only sculpting the sound sets for Earthy-but he is also mixing the sound for Goodbye Gauley Mountain. Speaking of which the dinner ticket requests are moving along. We've almost sold as many as a small Stephens/Sprinkle dinner party. But we want a big dinner party. There's only two more days left to purchase your meal-and I reduced the sliding scale price a little. Check out the possibilities-and I hope everyone knows that despite the fact that we need to raise some energy around upcoming film expenses--no one will be turned away from the 7:30 lecture and 8:30 screening. http://www.facebook.com/events/217498138391306/

We just donated to help organize protests intended to raise Obama's consciousness around the Keystone XL pipeline and to Kate Bornstein to help out with her outrageous med expenses.
